Cervical Cancer Screening Platform
Enabling accessible health technology to the most remote parts of the world.
A prominent, global HealthTech philanthropic organization focused on developing innovative, affordable health technologies for underserved populations partnered with Soft Lif3 ENT LLC as the lead software development provider for a cervical cancer screening initiative. The goal was to deliver a software-driven solution for Automated Visual Evaluation (AVE), designed to support early detection of cervical precancer in low-resource settings where traditional screening methods are often inaccessible.
Soft Lif3 ENT LLC led the design and development of a comprehensive software platform used in clinical studies, encompassing several critical components: a cloud-based data collection infrastructure, an image-processing-based AVE tool, and a mobile Android application for field use. The system enables healthcare workers to capture and analyze cervical images in real time using standard mobile device cameras, supporting remote diagnosis and timely intervention.
Key technical and operational considerations included building a system resilient to persistent poor network connectivity, ensuring patient data privacy and end-to-end data security, managing users across multiple roles and geographies, and integrating user training protocols into the mobile experience. Soft Lif3 ENT LLC designed the platform to operate reliably in remote and resource-constrained environments, providing scalable access to lifesaving screening technology.
By combining deep health tech software expertise with a user-centered, context-aware design approach, Soft Lif3 ENT LLC delivered a powerful digital health solution that supports global efforts in the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer. The platform continues to play a vital role in expanding access to healthcare technology and improving outcomes in underserved communities.
